A daytrip to Louisville.

I was so happy to go to Louisville for the day.

The following works of textile art were created by Shawn Lee. I was so spellbound by these pieces that I could hardly pull myself away from them to hang out with my friends. They are all intricately put together: every stitch perfectly placed. What mesmerized me so thoroughly was that the craftsmanship gave the pieces liveliness and personality. 

There were fabulous pieces of textile art hanging throughout the house, and the whole place felt welcoming.

Who doesn't love the Highlands?

While on a ten day tour, we were invited to the home of Dave Garwacke to record this video. He recently posted our Pink Couch session on his website: If You Make It. This video was made back in June while we were still a band, and watching it makes me miss being part of that so very much.

Waking to discover it snowed overnight is great news.

 It snowed about three inches last night,  so it was easy to wake up at seven and immediately get outside. Overnight snowfalls make me ridiculously happy! Most of the following photos are from a walk Nick and I took this morning.
